Every wedding we photograph is given our complete attention, from the first conversation to the final edit. We take on a select number of commissions each year, working closely with each couple to understand what matters most before the day begins.

Matt works alongside Becky Lee, his co-photographer and creative partner. Together, they cover your day with a depth and range that one photographer simply cannot achieve, working instinctively, in complete creative alignment.

Signature Editing: Every image is personally selected and individually edited by Matt Porteous. Nothing is outsourced. The result is a cohesive, timeless body of work that feels elevated, elegant and deeply personal.

We offer exclusive film packages created by award-winning filmmakers, designed to perfectly complement the photography. For couples seeking broader coverage, we can bring in a larger team and provide social media-ready content alongside the full editorial work.

Our Process

First, we connect. Before anything is booked, we want to meet in person or by video. A good working relationship matters more than any contract. We want to understand your day, your vision and the people who matter most to you.

Then, we plan. Once your date is secured, we stay close. A call is always easier than email. We'll meet again in the days before your wedding to make sure we walk in with a clear picture in our minds.

On the day, we disappear into it. We work discreetly, moving naturally through the day, building trust with the people around us. What we capture is real, not posed, not performed.

After, we craft. Every image is individually processed and edited. You'll receive a preview within 48 hours, and your full gallery typically within two to three weeks.

  • Between Jersey and London, which gives us easy access to the UK, Europe and destinations worldwide.

  • Documentary. We observe rather than direct, finding the real moments as they happen.
